India vs England LIVE
After 64 overs, England 271/7 (Ben Foakes 32, Tom Hartley 30)
FOUR! Poor delivery from Ashwin as he fires one down leg, with Hartley comfortably sweeping it towards the fine leg fence for a boundary. The Indians start celebrating later in the over with Ashwin thinking he’s got his 500th victim after Hartley appears to have got a top-edge off a reverse sweep, resulting in a catch for Rohit behind the keeper. Hartley however, takes this upstairs right away, and the ball is found to have deflected off his wrist rather than glove. What’s more, TV umpire Paul Reiffel checks for LBW and gets ‘Umpire’s Call’ — which is assumed to be ‘Not Out’ in this case with his on-field umpire Chris Gaffaney having raised his finger for the catch. India captain Rohit has a word with Gaffaney on whether the original decision for the LBW should be ‘Not Out’ or not. Eight off Ashwin’s over.
Mukesh replaces Kuldeep from the other end and concedes a single straight away that brings up fifty of the partnership between Hartley and Foakes,
